Sergio was born in La Paz in 1989. He is married and father of two children. An industrial designer and graphic designer, he holds a Master's degree in the Development of Self-sustaining Projects.

Currently he is the Manager of the Alfarero Café/Restaurant in Santa Cruz, responsible for the pastoral care of the volunteer scheme at El Alfarero, and a trained Counsellor.
